My Overlays ...

Postby jaebee » Mon Mar 26, 2012 10:21 pm

Hello,

I know how to import .kmz files (created via Google Earth) into the features of govfr.com. Works perfect ! But ... can I use "My Overlays" also in Nav Pro ?
Like said in a previous mail, I fly helicopters ... case (for example):
... I want to have (on a temporary base) sometimes "waypoints" (in fact waypoints that should not be part of the normal flight plan). But I would like to see those points on my map during flight. Those points are - lets say - points that I need to keep in mind while flying. Example: for one photoshoot I will do no special flight for it but if I am flying anyway and am nearby that point I can deviate to that temporary "waypoint", take the shot and continue my normal flight plan. Later on, I can delete that temporary point in the .kmz file.

Best regards,
Joos

Hi Joos

Thanks for your suggestion. We need a bit time to think about it. It would probably be a possibility to share all the waypoints of a kml file with Air Nav - whether they are used in a flight plan or not.
