A click on the goVFR logo in the top left corner always brings you back to the start page:
Register
Click the "register" link on the top right:
Chose a username, provide your e-mail address and a password that is at least 6 characters long. Don't forget to check the "Terms" box to accept the Terms & Conditions.
Complete the register form by clicking the "register" button.
Finished!
You are now a member of the goVFR community!
The username and password can be used to log in to this forum.
A notification message is sent to the e-mail address to confirm your registration. There's no need to activate your account.
Login
Well, this is even more simple. Insert your chosen username and password into the login form and submit it by clicking the "submit" button. Welcome.
In case you forgot your login credentials, click the "forgot" link and follow the step by step instructions there.
Once logged in, you may apply some changes to your account.
Visit the "my preferences" page by clicking the link, top right of the page:

... preselected country: affects the initial selection of the predefined waypoints (to make it faster)
... flightplan type: a "modern", driving-direction-like version, or a compact version, named "classic"
